Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food and beverage promptly while communicating via headset. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, input orders into the computer system, and expedite delivery to dine-in guests. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary. Answer phone calls using company script and assist with table greeting, escorting, pre-bussing, and cashing out guests as needed. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food with a focus on family dining and community pride.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
