Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders accurately while wearing a headset to expedite service. Process cash and credit transactions, manage receivables including coupons and gift cards, and input orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, handle food prep equipment safely, and monitor bakery and retail stock levels. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving managers when necessary, answer phone calls using company scripts, and assist with expediting meals to dine-in guests. Perform pre-bussing tasks and roll silverware as needed. This role requires standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and multi-tasking to prioritize guest needs while ensuring safe food handling and sanitation compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
