Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food and beverages promptly while wearing a headset to coordinate with teammates. Process cash and credit transactions accurately, input orders into the computer system, and handle guest complaints by involving management as needed. Maintain a clean, stocked carryout area, safely operate food prep equipment, and assist with expediting, delivery, table escorting, and pre-bussing tasks. Answer phone calls per company script and monitor bakery and retail stock levels. This role supports the team in delivering Bob Evans' farm-fresh dining experience with a focus on perfect plates and family service.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
