Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly and accurately. Communicate professionally to determine guest needs, handle cash and credit transactions, and accurately input orders into the computer system. Wear a headset to coordinate with managers and teammates, safely handle food prep equipment, and maintain cleanliness in the carry out, bakery, and retail areas. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary. Answer phone calls using company scripts, assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests, and support pre-bussing tables. Perform all duties as assigned while maintaining dependability and exceptional teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
