Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using situational selling techniques, and package food and beverages promptly while adhering to company standards. Communicate with managers via headset to expedite service, process cash and credit transactions, and accurately input orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary and assist with expediting meals to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and escorting customers. Answer phone calls using the company script and perform all other duties as assigned. This role offers early closes with no late nights, competitive pay up to $15.00 per hour, and excellent benefits including a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
