Job Summary
Bag groceries, offer carry-out and parcel pick-up services, and maintain bags at register stands. Adhere to "Meet and Greet" policies while properly bagging items per customer preference. Transport shopping carts from the parking lot, empty trash cans, complete restroom cleanup, and maintain the parking lot by removing debris. Perform price checks, restock shelves as needed, and assist with stock when directed. Update logs for bathrooms and floors per company policy. Maintain adequate training for new carry-outs or assist other departments. Comply with all policies, including dress code and name tag requirements. This medium-physical role involves lifting 50 lb. boxes, using knives, and working on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to stoop
- Must have the ability to kneel
- Must have the ability to reach
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
