Job Summary
Bag groceries and offer carry-out/parcel pick-up service while maintaining bags at register stands. Assist customers by adhering to "Meet and Greet" policies and properly bagging items to meet preferences. Bring in shopping carts from the parking lot and maintain the lot by picking up trash and debris. Take and replace items on shelves, perform price checks as needed, and empty trash cans or complete restroom clean-up. Update logs for bathroom and floor per company policy. Help with stock when directed and assist in other departments as needed. Maintain adequate training for new carry outs. Comply with all company policies including dress code and wearing a name tag. Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes, exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently, use knives and sharp instruments, and work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
