Job Summary
Bag groceries, offer carry-out and parcel pick-up service, and maintain bags at register stands while adhering to "Meet and Greet" policies. Properly pack items per customer preference, bring shopping carts from the parking lot, and maintain the lot by removing trash and debris. Restock shelves, perform price checks, empty trash cans, and complete restroom clean-up. Assist with stock when directed, update bathroom and floor logs, and train new carry-outs. Maintain adequate training and assist other departments as needed. Comply with all company policies, including dress code and name tag requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to reach.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
