Ophthalmic Technician Internship for the LASIK MD network in Canada (Summer 2026). An 8-week paid internship offering hands-on clinical experience in a laser vision correction clinic, with training provided. Responsibilities include assisting and performing patient testing during pre-operative and post-operative exams, completing patient charts, and learning diagnostic skills such as lensometry, autorefraction, pupillometry, fundus photography, corneal topography and tomography, OCT (cornea and retina), biometry, and higher-order aberration testing. You will collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists, support patient communication, and contribute to excellent customer service. Eligibility requires current enrollment in an optician program or Bachelor of Science program, OMT students welcome, and, for certain locations, French proficiency.
