Job Summary
Wind Turbine Technician to support the Turbine O&M Team in delivering projects; provide technical assistance to resolve issues and implement improvements across Electrical, Mechanical & Hydraulic systems. Candidates should have a mechanical and/or electrical background in turbine systems, with experience or familiarity with blade repairs, gearbox inspections, vibration analysis, ultrasound, bore scope and thermal imaging, and strong fault-finding and reporting capabilities. Responsibilities include preparing risk assessments and method statements, coordinating with clients on site, and leading main component replacements while developing in-house technical training and site documentation. Travel within the UK & Ireland will be required depending on project needs; knowledge of Gamesa and Vestas technologies is valued. Qualifications include a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification (minimum Level 3 NVQ) and prior wind turbine maintenance experience; good communication and safety awareness are essential.
