Job Summary
Senior Analyst, Finance and Accounting for North American Asset Management supporting client-owned renewable projects (wind, solar, and battery storage) across North America. Responsibilities include day-to-day accounting, month-end close, AR/AP, fixed assets, quarterly/annual financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and SPV-level forecasting, cash flow planning, tax equity reporting, investor reporting, audits coordination, and developing/maintaining project financial models. Requires finance/accounting degree, 5+ years FP&A/accounting, 2+ years tax equity experience, IFRS/GAAP proficiency, and ability to travel up to 15%. Proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint; Big Four background and renewable energy experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting required
- MBA, CPA, CFA or any other relevant financial designation preferred
- 5 or more years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting role required
- 2 or more years of tax equity experience required
- Renewables industry experience preferred
- Big four background preferred
- Ability to travel 5 to 15% domestically and internationally required
- Comprehensive understanding of IFRS, GAAP, audits, accruals, internal controls; budgeting and forecasting; financial analysis
- Hands-on tax equity experience to support financial reporting, modeling, and compliance for a portfolio of renewable energy projects
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
