Job Summary
Assists the Quality Supervisor by performing audits and inspections to ensure standards of quality are maintained within their area of expertise. Tasks include 100% inspections of work, inspecting equipment and materials for quality, documenting inspections, reviewing findings with the Quality Supervisor to assign corrective actions, and reporting audit/test results. The role requires reading design drawings, specifications, installation guides, and inspection/test plans, documenting non-conformances, initiating NCRs/Observations, ensuring proper QA/QC documentation, coordinating with Quality Coordinators, and upholding safety procedures. The position emphasizes adherence to procedures, data accuracy, safety compliance, and preparing reports; it may involve reporting safety issues and supporting the upkeep of Job Books. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED (or 0–2 years experience), and preferred exposure to QA/QC audits in industrial construction, with a bias toward wind/solar/renewable energy contexts; basic knowledge in construction and inspection, and proficiency with MS Office.
