Job Summary

Serve as the primary People & Culture partner for assigned frontline leaders, employees, and construction projects, providing consultative guidance on employee relations, workforce issues, and leadership effectiveness. Regularly travel to project sites and operational locations to build trusted relationships, understand workforce challenges, and deliver practical people solutions. Conduct workplace investigations involving policy violations, attendance concerns, and employee complaints, while coaching supervisors on performance management, attendance, and policy interpretation. Support workforce planning discussions, facilitate training on compliance and respectful workplace expectations, and act as the voice of field employees by providing feedback to leadership. Requires fluency in English and Spanish, a minimum of 3 days in-office presence, and 30-50% travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of Human Resources, Employee Relations, HR Generalist, or HR Advisory experience
  • 1+ years of experience supporting construction, field operations, manufacturing, skilled trades, or geographically dispersed workforces
  • 1+ years' experience conducting workplace investigation and managing employee relation matters
  • Ability to travel 30-50%
  • A valid drivers license
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and workforce support practices
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to conduct employee interviews, investigations, coaching conversations, and training sessions in English and Spanish
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Ability to coach frontline leaders and influence positive outcomes
  • Strong investigation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in field environments
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office skills
  • Minimum of 3 days in office

  • Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude
  • Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action
  • Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly

  • Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test

Desired Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent certification
