Job Summary
Monitor renewable energy assets including Solar, BESS, and Wind within the Operations Control Center to ensure safe, efficient system operation and regulatory compliance. Resolve alarms, manage curtailment procedures, and maintain SCADA connectivity while balancing communications with site personnel, authorities, and off-takers. Maintain formal operator logs, support asset management group scheduling, and assist the Maintenance Team with lockout/tagout and troubleshooting. Participate in administrative maintenance of operating manuals and plant records. Work regularly, punctually, and in a high-pressure team environment with domestic travel of 5-15%.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Technical/Electrical/Engineering (or work experience below)
- 2+ years or more Control Room experience or renewable energy experience
- Scheduling/progress control techniques
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations
- Oral and written communication skills
- High energy, positive, and ability to work well in a team environment with proven attention to detail
- Proficient knowledge of energy management and trending analysis software, SCADA, and Microsoft Office software
- Functional competencies include teamwork, communication, passion, continuous improvement, and attention to detail
- Domestic travel 5-15%
- Valid Driver's License
- Must pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test
