Job Summary
Coordinate engineering efforts with RES and third-party teams for utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS projects, managing scope, schedules, and budgets across early-stage, bid, and EPC phases. Establish RFI registers in Procore, review Engineer of Record designs for compliance, and lead peer reviews with the engineering team. Facilitate kick-off meetings, coordinate site visits, and manage technical documentation, drawings, and submittals. Mentor Assistant Engineering Project Managers on project management activities and build their skillsets. Maintain design change logs, organize safety and constructability reviews, and support procurement coordination for shop drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction management, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
- 5 or more cumulative years of engineering experience with relevant wind/solar experience
- Ability to travel 5 to 15%
- Advanced knowledge in: Wind/Solar/BESS Power Plant Design
- Advanced knowledge in: Wind/Solar/BESS Power Plant Performance Analysis
- Advanced knowledge in: Substation/Transmission and Distribution System Design and Operation
- Advanced knowledge in: Communication, internally and externally
- Advanced knowledge in: General Civil, Structural, Electrical, SCADA, and Mechanical Design
- Advanced knowledge in: General Design for Constructability
- Advanced knowledge in: Familiarity with Industry Standards
- Advanced knowledge in: Personnel Management
- Advanced knowledge in: Client Management
- Advanced knowledge in: Organization
- Advanced knowledge in: MS Office (Project; Excel including charts, graphs, bars, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, SUMIF, filtering information, VBA and Macros, statistical modeling, forecasting and prediction, advanced formulas; PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Intermediate level of knowledge in: Project Scheduling Tools
- Intermediate level of knowledge in: Fundamental understanding of AutoCAD
- Functional competencies include building strategic partnerships, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and customer focus
- Anticipated base salary range: $121,000 - $151,000
- The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
