Job Summary
Conduct Civil/Electrical duties at the project site while adhering to OSHA safety and operating procedures. Operate heavy and light equipment including backhoes, loaders, rollers, rock trucks, blades, excavators, dozers, and forklifts for crane erection. Perform pre-inspection checks on incoming and outgoing loads, monitor equipment during operation, and report daily results on hours, fuel, and maintenance needs. Maintain job site organization and perform preventive maintenance on all mobile and stationary equipment. Work on various terrains, evaluate site requirements, and wear designated personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a construction field
- 0-2 years experience with backhoe, loader, roller and rock truck
- 0-3 years experience with blade, excavator and dozer
- 1-3 years experience with trencher and up to 130 ton crane/crawler R/T (rough terrain) and less than 250T crane/crawler or A/T (all terrain)
- 4+ years experience with 250 Ton crane/crawler or A/T (all terrain)
- Must be certified on site for all types of heavy/light equipment by displaying skill level to a Superintendent
- CCO certification for Crane Operators
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home as required
- Must pass a pre-employment background investigation
- Must pass a drug test
Desired Qualifications
- CDL certifications for A/T cranes
