Job Summary

Partner with assigned frontline leaders, employees, and construction projects as the primary People & Culture specialist. Conduct workplace investigations, facilitate training, and provide consultative guidance on employee relations, leadership effectiveness, and compliance. Travel regularly to project sites across the U.S. to build trusted relationships and address workforce challenges. Coach supervisors on performance management, attendance, and policy interpretation while supporting talent reviews and workforce planning. Deliver training on respectful workplace expectations and company policies to reinforce consistent leadership practices. Bilingual in English and Spanish; requires 3+ years of HR experience and ability to travel 30-50%. Base salary $71,800–$89,700.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of Human Resources, Employee Relations, HR Generalist, or HR Advisory experience
  • 1+ years of experience supporting construction, field operations, manufacturing, skilled trades, or geographically dispersed workforces
  • 1+ years' experience conducting workplace investigation and managing employee relation matters
  • Ability to travel 30-50%
  • A valid drivers license
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and workforce support practices
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to conduct employee interviews, investigations, coaching conversations, and training sessions in English and Spanish
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Ability to coach frontline leaders and influence positive outcomes
  • Strong investigation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in field environments
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office skills
  • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures
  • Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence to ensure effective delivery of People & Culture services
  • Participate in People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote and support a culture of safety, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Support employment compliance activities across the United States and Canada, including identifying, assessing, and escalating compliance risks and policy concerns
  • Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action
  • Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly
  • Must pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test

Desired Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent certification
