Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operations of multiple utility-scale renewable energy facilities, leading Site/Plant Managers and overseeing field activities to ensure safe, reliable performance. Coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, system testing, and contractor oversight while driving automation in site data collection and reporting processes. Escalate budgetary, contractual, and critical strategic issues to the Regional/Project Manager while independently managing daily execution and operational decision-making. Provide on-call operational support and maintain familiarity with OSHA, NERC, ERCOT, and other industry standards. Collaborate with internal teams to analyze production data and develop tools for reliability and performance analysis.
Required Qualifications
- High school/GED General Education
- Bachelor Degree Engineering or Business Management
- 1+ years Power or Renewables Project
- Experience with utility scale facility management
- Strong management background
- Intermediate usage of MS SQL, Strong Access, Excel, and Office suite skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to represent RES professionally in all aspects
- Ability to work effectively with other groups within RES
- Self-motivated and the ability to interface in a team environment
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to reliably respond to operational issues on rotating 24/7 basis
- Functional competencies include teamwork, customer focus, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail
- Domestic and International travel 16-30%
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test
- Must be available for at least 3 days in office (hybrid)
Desired Qualifications
- Field Electrical experience in utility grade facilities
- Experience with Energy Storage
- Knowledge of PI or SQL
- Basic electrical (low voltage) and switching (high voltage) knowledge and skills
