Job Summary
Conceptualize, design, and produce engaging graphics for print and digital channels, including social media, presentations, posters, signage, event materials, banners, emails, and invitation visuals. Support corporate communication initiatives by collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand needs, provide creative guidance, and recommend design solutions. Manage multiple design projects and ad hoc requests simultaneously, prioritizing work and managing timelines to deliver high-quality creative within tight deadlines. Ensure all materials align with brand standards while supporting corporate events through dimensional displays, trade exhibit materials, and environmental design concepts. Assist with photo sourcing, image editing, content formatting, and occasionally provide support with video production and filming. Coordinate projects with external partners including translators, print vendors, and agencies. This role requires onsite presence three days a week at the corporate office in St. Jacobs.
Required Qualifications
- College Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field
- Three to five years of professional graphic design experience
- ideally within a corporate environment
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical graphic design capabilities across print and digital channels
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- in a Mac or PC environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work within established brand guidelines while bringing creativity and fresh thinking to design projects
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
- with the ability to independently manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and tight production deadlines
- Strong communication and advisory skills
- with the ability to understand stakeholder needs, respond constructively to feedback, and recommend alternative solutions when needed
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities, multiple rounds of edits and approvals, and a high volume of ad hoc requests
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak periods, as required
- Ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model
