Carrier Sales Representative

Job Summary
Carrier Sales Representative role focused on cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with outside service providers and owner-operators. Responsibilities include developing capacity solutions, managing load boards to match freight with carrier capacity, maintaining a portfolio of carriers and negotiating transportation rates, preparing quotes, processing orders via phone/email/EDI, conducting carrier calls to verify availability, and growing carrier accounts through regular reviews and opportunities identification. Requires a college degree, 3-4 years carrier sales/brokerage experience, strong communication, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to operate remotely from Bogotá, Colombia. Relies on relationship-building with carriers across geographies and delivering consistent service levels to internal customers.
Required Qualifications
- College or University degree
- 3-4 years of previous experience in Brokerage/ carrier sales is an asset
- Effective communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good understanding of North American geography
- Strong command over MS Office with an ability to learn new software easily
- Must be based on Bogotá, Colombia
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
