Job Summary
Carrier Sales Representative focusing on procurement of carrier capacity for customer freight across FCL, FTL, and LTL; responsibilities include sourcing capacity, negotiating spot market rates to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality, building/maintaining carrier relationships, managing load coverage and communications, monitoring market conditions for pricing decisions, collaborating with internal teams for successful shipment execution, maintaining records of carrier activity and pricing in internal systems; requires strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, upper-intermediate English, and 1-2 years in carrier sales or logistics brokerage; remote-friendly with standard business hours EST.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' proven experience working in a Carrier Sales role or a similar logistics role in brokerage
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Upper-intermediate + English Level
- Remote mode of work
