Job Summary
Sourcing, negotiating, and securing specialized bulk carriers including liquid tank trucks, pneumatic, and ISO tanks to move freight efficiently. Cultivate and maintain a robust network of core carriers while conducting cold calls to source new capacity and match available freight with qualified carrier capacity in a timely manner. Schedule precise pickup and delivery appointments, maintain real-time tracking, and manage route changes or transit delays through continuous communication with carriers and customers. Ensure strict adherence to industry protocols, safety regulations, and insurance requirements prior to dispatch. Accurately input load details and carrier information into the transportation management system, oversee back-end billing audits, and validate invoices to ensure accurate payment processing. This role requires B2 English proficiency and is located in Guadalajara with a Monday-to-Friday 06:00-15:00 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct bulk transportation experience, specifically tank truck, pneumatic, or ISO tanks
- Proven track record in carrier sales, dispatching, or freight brokerage within the logistics industry
- Strong negotiation skills and experience securing carrier capacity under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, decision making, and problem solving abilities
- Proficiency with transportation management systems and freight databases
- English Level: B2 Intermediate
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent military or work experience
- 3+ years of general logistics and transportation experience
- Familiarity with Responsible Care, DOT safety compliance, and bulk freight handling standards
- Self-starter capable of exercising sound judgment and operating independently in a fast-paced environment
