Job Summary

Carrier Sales role focused on proactively generating new revenue from wholesale telecom partner relationships. Quota-bearing position responsible for sales revenue from new and existing partners. Responsibilities include researching and generating new leads with targeted telecommunications carriers through cold calling, referrals, and partner relationships; maintaining detailed monthly and quarterly sales forecasts; communicating with wholesale partners to uncover and qualify opportunities; measuring and reporting partner performance using key metrics; and attending industry events to build relationships and promote products and services. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years in wholesale telecom sales, with strong knowledge of Ethernet, IP, SD-WAN, security, CRM proficiency, and exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in wholesale sales within the Telecommunications industry
  • Proven prospecting, networking, and business development skills
  • Knowledge of layer 1/2 Ethernet, IP, and related technologies such as SD-WAN and security
  • Proficient with CRM applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven record of developing and maintaining strong partner relationships
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing schedules and priorities
