Job Summary
Answer phone calls and emails daily to build lasting relationships with customers, outside carriers, and drivers. Sell freight and grow a dedicated carrier base by negotiating rates and solving problems in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Dispatch drivers on shipments, track them accurately from pickup to delivery, and keep freight bills, carrier rates, and files accurate and up to date. Offer real solutions for issues like wrong paperwork, missing pickup numbers, or detention disputes, and collect documents for billing once a shipment delivers. Vet carriers using provided tools and software. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of general office experience
- Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
