Carrier Relations Manager

Job Summary
Build and manage strategic relationships with Tier-1 and Tier-2 MNOs across multiple regions, acting as the primary point of contact between CloudCom and operator teams on technical, commercial, legal, and security functions. Lead operator onboarding for Open Gateway and Network API enablement, driving adoption of services like Number Verification, SIM Swap Detection, and KYC APIs while defining commercial models such as revenue share and per-transaction pricing. Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Security, and Legal teams to ensure implementations align with GSMA Open Gateway and CAMARA standards, representing the company in industry forums and workshops. Support pilots, proofs of concept, and commercial launches while assisting operators with security, compliance, and regulatory considerations including privacy and consent. Available for meetings during Cairo time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in carrier relations, telecom partnerships, or wholesale telecom
- Experience at manager level, director level, or as a senior individual contributor with deep carrier-partnership experience
- Solid understanding of Mobile Network Operator environments
- Hands-on exposure to Network APIs, CPaaS, or telco digital platforms
- Experience engaging and negotiating with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience working with global operators and cross-regional teams
- Background in CPaaS, fintech, or digital identity solutions
- Previous involvement in operator API monetization initiatives
- Experience working in operators or with operators in telecom companies such as Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, or XLSMART Telecom
- Available for meetings during Cairo time
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of GSMA Open Gateway and CAMARA APIs
- Experience with Identity and Authentication APIs, telco security standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, and CIBA, and Network Exposure concepts including NEF, network slicing, or identity APIs
