Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty refrigeration units on trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment while diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and cycle issues. Perform preventative maintenance, recharge refrigerant systems, and rebuild components including compressors and evaporators. Complete repair orders accurately, maintain service records, and conduct pre-startup checks in both indoor and outdoor environments. Requires EPA Section 608 certification, 3+ years of heavy-duty refrigeration experience, and ability to read blueprints and schematics. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty refrigeration repair or maintenance
- preferably with commercial trucks, trailers, or industrial units
- In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
