Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty refrigeration units on trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment while diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and cycle issues. Recharge refrigerant systems, replace components like compressors and evaporators, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure temperature-sensitive goods remain safe. Complete repair orders timely, maintain accurate service records, and conduct pre-startup checks in both indoor and outdoor environments. Requires EPA Section 608 Certification, 3+ years of heavy-duty refrigeration experience, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty refrigeration repair or maintenance
- preferably with commercial trucks, trailers, or industrial units
- In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical components
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong attention to detail
