Job Summary
Source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move freight in a timely and cost-effective manner; maintain strong carrier relationships, communicate with carriers and customers, schedule pickups, follow procedures for HVS/HRC loads, conduct research for potential leads, and assist with back-end billing and invoicing while ensuring RXO brand integrity.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of procurement experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of transportation experience
- 2 years of sales or customer service experience
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits
