Job Summary
Carrier Invoicing / Invoicing Representative responsibilities include managing carrier payments and customer billing, processing invoices, ensuring timely disbursement, SOP development and updates, cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency, and serving as a point of contact for complex inquiries on accessorial policies, billing issues, and contract implications. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to implement invoicing in line with customer needs, distributing and tracking communications for return compliance, and potentially training others on J.B. Hunt systems, mentoring junior colleagues, and acting as a subject matter expert on external/internal processes. Emphasis is placed on understanding contractual terms, contributing to SOP updates, and supporting operational improvements across the billing and payment functions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of carrier payable, customer invoicing, transportation/logistics, or military equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
