Job Summary
Prep and install flooring in steps according to company procedures with high attention to detail. Keep tools organized and clean while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Familiarize yourself with project files to understand the scope of work before arriving on-site. Properly handle company machinery and power tools, utilizing knowledge of units of measurement and simple math calculations. Interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner, ensuring high quality standards and customer satisfaction with every aspect of the job. This role requires travel throughout the week and involves repetitive crouching, squatting, standing, walking, and lifting 50-75 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years in flooring installation
- Valid driver's license and functioning vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of units of measurement and able to complete simple math calculations
- Interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner, must be trustworthy and comfortable in a customer's home
- Job requires travel throughout the week
- This position travels to various work locations throughout the week
