Job Summary
Deliver high-quality carpet cleaning services, set up drying and restoration equipment, remove damaged materials, and prepare work areas for repair. Perform water extraction, demolition, and cleanup while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. Operate portable carpet cleaning units and assist experienced teammates in turning damaged spaces into safe, restored environments. Complete work activities involving material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment. Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule. Requires a valid full class driver's license, previous professional carpet cleaning experience, and proficiency with mobile devices and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Previous professional carpet cleaning experience
- Experience operating a portable carpet cleaning unit
- Valid full class driver's license and clear driver's abstract
- Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in restoration, carpet cleaning, construction, or a related field (cleaning or emergency services experience an asset)
- Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification
- Carpet Cleaning Technician Course (CCT) certification
- Forklift certification
