Job Summary
Carpentry Technology Instructor at Hinds Community College (Vicksburg campus; 11-month full-time assignment). Responsibilities include teaching Foundations Blueprint Reading, Construction Mathematics, Floor and Wall Framing, Ceiling and Roof Framing, Interior/Exterior Finishing and Cabinet Installation, Roofing, Drafting, Millwork, Cost Estimating, Construction Materials, and related carpentry courses. The role requires developing lesson plans and course outlines, maintaining classroom and lab records, recommending curriculum updates, coordinating with industry advisory committees, supporting student placement and advisement, and ensuring a safe, well-equipped shop environment.
