Job Summary
Lead and work with crew members performing rough and finish carpentry on commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects, including framing interior walls, installing trim, hanging doors, and erecting bath partitions. Collaborate with the Foreman to motivate, train, and mentor a crew of 3-4 carpenters while maintaining a safe and quality work culture. Assist in planning and organizing daily jobsite operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficient production. Read and understand blueprints, operate hand and power tools, and perform physical labor such as lifting heavy objects. Work outdoors in variable weather conditions and fast-paced environments, multi-tasking to meet deadlines. This role offers day shift employment Monday through Friday for an employee-owned company with competitive compensation and benefits including ESOP profit sharing, 401(k) matching, and health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Read and understand blueprints
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly (0-50 lbs ground to shoulder, 0-80 lbs ground to carry height)
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Ability to operate hand/power tools and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Must possess skills to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment
