Job Summary
Lead and supervise commercial carpentry crews on active construction projects in Delaware County, coordinating daily manpower, workflow, and jobsite activities to maintain production schedules. Perform and oversee metal stud framing, drywall installation, acoustical ceilings, and finish carpentry work, including installing commercial doors, frames, hardware, and windows. Interpret blueprints and specifications to execute project requirements accurately while working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors. Monitor jobsite safety practices, track labor productivity, and mentor crew members to ensure quality craftsmanship and professional conduct. Minimum 3 years of commercial carpentry experience with leadership responsibilities required, along with OSHA certification preference. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between local sites are necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial carpentry experience with leadership, supervisory, or foreman responsibilities
- Strong experience with metal stud framing, drywall systems, ceilings, and commercial finish carpentry
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
- Experience installing commercial doors, frames, hardware, and ceiling systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate crews and manage multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel between local project sites as required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in active commercial construction environments
