Carpenter in a concrete construction company responsible for building, erecting, and dismantling formwork and other structures used in concrete construction, including layout, measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing forms for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and other concrete structures in accordance with project specs and safety standards. Primary responsibilities include general construction labor, jobsite clean-up, material handling, operating power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts, working in varying weather conditions, assisting in pouring vertical concrete, installing reshores per instructions, quickly learning vertical installations and framing/decking operations, reading a tape measure, and maintaining safety and quality on site. Minimum qualifications note frequent lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds (up to 90 with assistance), frequent walking/stooping/kneeling/reaching, frequent use of hand tools, and preference for 12 months of formwork/concrete experience and a 30 Hour OSHA Card.
