Job Summary
Carpenter in a concrete construction company responsible for building, erecting, and dismantling formwork and other concrete-structure forms for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and related structures, following project specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include general construction labor (site cleanup, material handling), operating power tools and equipment (saws, hammers, nails, bolts), assisting in vertical concrete pours, installing reshores as directed, and supporting vertical installations, framing, and decking operations. Must be capable of reading a tape measure, working in varying weather conditions, and demonstrates physical strength and balance. Prior experience with formwork/concrete construction and OSHA-30 are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months formwork / concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter
- Preference for 30 Hour OSHA Card
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and up to 90 pounds with assistance; frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
- Read a tape measure
- Experience with power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
