Job Summary
The Carpenter in concrete construction is responsible for building, erecting, and dismantling formwork and structures used in projects. Responsibilities include performing general labor, operating power tools, assisting in vertical concrete pouring, and installing reshores. Candidates should have the ability to lift heavy materials and use hand tools, with a preference for those having 12 months of relevant experience and a 30 Hour OSHA Card.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of formwork / concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter
- Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material (up to 90 pounds with assistance)
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Frequent use of hand tools and power tools
- Good balance and physical strength
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- 30 Hour OSHA Card preferred
