Job Summary
The Carpenter in a concrete construction environment is responsible for building, erecting, and dismantling formwork and structures. Key duties include layout, measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing forms for various concrete constructions, performing job site clean-up, and utilizing motorized equipment and hand tools. Ideal candidates should have good balance and physical strength, be able to lift heavy materials, and have at least 12 months of experience in concrete construction. Successful candidates will possess skills in vertical installations and framing operations, with a preference for those holding a OSHA 30 Card.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds with assistance.
- Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing.
- Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
Desired Qualifications
- Preference of 30 Hour OSHA Card desired.
- Minimum of 12 months of formwork/concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter
