Job Summary
The Carpenter in concrete construction is responsible for building, erecting, and dismantling formwork and other structures for concrete projects. Key responsibilities include general construction labor, operating power tools, assisting in pouring vertical concrete, and reading a tape measure. The role requires physical strength, balance, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Preferred qualifications include at least 12 months of relevant work experience and a 30 Hour OSHA Card.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and 90 pounds with assistance
- Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing
- Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
- Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 12 months of formwork/concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter
Desired Qualifications
- Preference of 30 Hour OSHA Card desired
