Job Summary
The Carpenter is responsible for building, erecting, and dismantling formwork and other structures in concrete construction. Key responsibilities include layout, measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing forms for various concrete structures. The role demands physical strength and the ability to operate motorized equipment and hand tools. Candidates should have experience in formwork/concrete construction and must be able to lift heavy materials, perform tasks involving physical exertion, and read a tape measure. Required Qualifications
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
- Good balance and physical strength
- Ability to assist in pouring of vertical concrete
Desired Qualifications
- 12 months of formwork/concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter
- 30 Hour OSHA Card
Additional Requirements
