Job Summary
Conduct exterior repair and restoration work including siding, framing, rot repair, and waterproofing across the Seattle Metro area. Diagnose structural envelope issues, perform window and door installations, and supervise deck construction projects. Operate hand and power tools safely while maintaining organized job sites and adhering to quality standards. Read project scopes, communicate with homeowners and leadership, and assist with workflow and timelines. Full-time schedule averaging 40-45 hours with optional overtime. Requires minimum 3 years of dedicated exterior carpentry experience and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of framing or siding experience
- Must be actively working as a carpenter currently
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of dedicated exterior carpentry experience
- Strong experience with framing, siding, and exterior carpentry
- Strong understanding of structural framing and building envelope systems
- Ability to follow project scopes, maintain quality standards, and work well with a crew
- Professional communication and customer-facing skills
- Fluent English communication
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials and perform physical job duties throughout the workday
- Authorized to work in the United States
