Job Summary
The Carpenter is responsible for construction and maintenance related items at The Culinary Institute of America, including general carpentry, woodworking, wall and floor tiling, carpeting, wall patching, painting, caulking, and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities include reading plans and following blueprints, performing routine maintenance on finishes and campus systems, replacing flooring components, hanging signage, conducting facility inspections, coordinating work with campus stakeholders, and using a tablet-based work order system while ensuring safety and minimal disruption to classes and activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of carpentry experience
- Valid Driver’s License
