Job Summary
Construct wooden structures, fixtures, and perform repairs while ensuring alignment with approved Citycare Property policies, plans, and programmes. Keep the Team Leader – Trades informed of incidents, risks, or issues as they arise. Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals, sharing knowledge and supporting effective teamwork. Maintain safety and compliance with all health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. You must hold a valid Full Driver's License, demonstrate commitment to HSE and quality standards, and meet NZDF specific security requirements. This role is based at RNZAF Base Woodbourne, west of Blenheim, supporting the operational success of the NZDF.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in carpentry/handyman maintenance team
- Valid Full Driver's License (clean)
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrated commitment to HSE and quality standards
- Alignment with Citycare Property values
- The legal right to work in Aotearoa
- ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check
- Ability to meet NZDF specific security requirements
