Job Summary
Measure, cut, and assemble wood materials; install frameworks, fixtures, and cabinetry while adhering to blueprints and building codes. Operate hand and power tools safely, maintain equipment and the company vehicle, and travel to jobsites with overnight stays required. Collaborate with tradespeople to ensure all work meets OSHA standards and project specifications. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and CDL preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings and other structures
- Good mathematical skills
- Mechanical abilities
- Ability to perform manual construction work
- Ability to operate equipment
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis
