Job Summary
Install wooden structures including roofing, joists, rafters, and stud work, while designing and installing cabinets, shelves, drywall, and insulation. Select lumber to meet project requirements and budget, sourcing materials that fit style specifications. Read blueprints and designs to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Use hand and power tools such as drills, saws, nail guns, and sanders to complete tasks. Maintain a valid class 5 license and work within customer budgets while collaborating with suppliers. This role supports the Topa team in maintaining and completing work around the Esterhazy area.
Required Qualifications
- Preference to be a Journeyperson Carpenter
- Level 2, 3, or 4 Carpenters
- Must hold a valid class 5 license
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Excellent Design skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, nail gun and sander
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes
