Job Summary
Construct and repair building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes, while precisely cutting materials to specified measurements. Install drywall, acoustic ceilings, floor finishes, and steel beams; operate scissor and boom lifts for elevated work; and perform site layout, concrete pouring, and demolition. Assemble and disassemble scaffolding safely. Adhere to all company standards and OSHA regulations while following directions from the Foreman and/or Site Superintendent. Perform other construction-related duties as assigned. This role supports the Buncher Company's diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial properties across Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting up to 75 lbs., standing for long periods, and working at heights.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional carpentry experience is preferred.
- Masonry skills and experience helpful, but not required.
