Job Summary
Construct and set forms to grade, install overhang brackets, build handrails, and remove forms after concrete placement. Erect metal and wood forms, assist with concrete pours for pier footings, columns, caps, and bridge decks, and interpret blueprints to prepare cast-in-place concrete. Use and maintain power equipment, load and unload trucks, and ensure all tools and materials are properly secured and stored. Adhere to OSHA safety protocols, company safety policies, and work in loud, outdoor conditions involving heavy civil and highway construction sites. Full-time role with average 50 hours per week, occasionally requiring long hours and weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working on Heavy Civil, Roadway or Bridge Projects
- Familiarity with working from heights and/or Manlifts
- Must have proper knowledge of using and maintaining any type of power equipment required to fulfill job
- Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol
- Must work in a drug-free environment
- Must be reliable/have reliable transportation
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment

- Ability to Interpret blueprints, sketches, or plans
- Good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimbed coordination

- Ability to work in outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
