Job Summary
Carpenter needed for ongoing commercial construction projects in the Boston and North Shore area. Responsibilities include performing rough and finish carpentry on residential and commercial job sites, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and project specifications, measuring, cutting, and installing framing, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other building materials; operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently; installing drywall, molding, siding, and other finish materials; maintaining a clean and organized work area; following safety regulations and company procedures; collaborating with project managers, foremen, and other trades to keep projects on schedule; minimum 2 years of carpentry experience; strong attention to detail and quality workmanship; ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor. Pay is $25.00 per hour with weekly pay. Full-time, long-term opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience required
- Experience with both rough and finish carpentry preferred
- Ability to read tape measures and construction plans
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Boston and North Shore area
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
