Job Summary
As a Carpenter at Busch Gardens, you will perform general carpentry work for in-park builds, repairs, and installations to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate materials, executing dependable performance in tasks, and communicating effectively with team members and guests. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant carpentry experience. Candidates must possess the ability to work with blueprints, operate tools safely, and work under varying weather conditions. A flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of onsite experience in the carpentry trade
- Ability to work with blueprints or in-depth sketches
- Ability to operate and maintain power and hand tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather
- Ability to work at heights up to 100ft and on scaffolding up to 24 ft
