Job Summary
Carpenter's Helper for Menno Haven's Maintenance team. Full-time, day shift. Entry-level role supporting renovations and remodeling across community sites. Responsibilities include assisting with demolition and renovation work, moving materials and debris, and supporting carpenters with drywall, framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and other installation tasks. Also assists with daily project setup and cleanup. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to lift and perform physical labor, and being a reliable, team-oriented individual with the ability to follow directions and maintain a positive attitude. Experience in construction or labor is helpful but not required; familiarity with construction tools preferred. Benefits include health/dental/vision, life insurance, 403(b), PTO, and more. Required Qualifications
- Previous construction or labor experience is helpful but not required
- Basic familiarity with construction tools preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to follow directions required
- Must be a team player as well as be able to work independently required
- Ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude required
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong customer service skills required
- Must maintain a clean, neat appearance required
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift materials required
- Must possess a good work ethic, dependability, flexibility and be punctual required
- Experience in senior living is a plus
